Lauren Woodall and William Penn (Will) placed second in the CCI*, Division 2. They scored 68% and 70% in their dressage tests! Everyone at LKN Dressage congratulates them on this impressive performance.

Marie and Jessie (aka "Nightly News") were brave souls and volunteered to ride demonstration rides for the USDF 'L' Judges' Program held at MacNair's Country Acres in Raleigh, NC. Marie and Jessie have been actively showing for just a year and they were both champs in the demo ride. Way to go Marie!

Elaine and Wendy both had the opportunity to ride in a clinic with Chris Hickey, Director of Training at Hilltop Farm, this month.

Elaine rode Boghi and they worked on keeping Boghi's alert mind focused on his work. Wendy rode Wulff and practiced on their flying changes. Both horse and rider teams were very enthusiastic about the learning experience.

Elaine Hayes and Wendy Taylor are off to a great start of the show season. They just returned from Dressage at Fence in Tryon, NC where they both did very well. Elaine rode Julie Sczerbinski's Landritter and Wendy rode her own horse, Weltgraf.

Elaine has been busy training & learning from well-known international clinicians this winter. She has ridden in clinics with Carole Grant (Boghi, Wulff, and Crystal), Christopher Hickey (Wulff and Wulff & Wendy), and Bo Jena (Wulff).

Carole, a PanAm Gold Medalist and judge, loved Wulff and said Boghi can do it all (with time and patience... !). Chris, Director of Training at Hilltop Farm, also loved Wulff and Wendy had a great lesson with him too. Bo, Head of the Flyinge, the National Stud of Sweden, instructed Elaine and Wulff in long-lining and piaffing. Bo said Wulff is ready for PSG/I-1!
